A vital
attribute of the monastery of Saint Irene Chrysovalantou, the Greek School plays
an essential role in building a strong foundation around the Greek language,
culture and heritage for our Greek-American youth.
Under the
safe-guarding of the Patriarchal Monastery our certified instructors will work
hard to ensure that your child not only learns the language properly, but
establishes a true Greek Orthodox identity in mind and soul.
The school
boasts a complete Elementary and Junior High School curriculum which is
carefully planned according to the Ministry of Education of Greece's strict
guidelines. It consists of daily evening classes (Monday through Friday 3PM -
5PM) as well as Saturday classes (9AM - 1PM).
The children
are taught reading comprehension, grammar, spelling, writing, mythology, history
and religion.
School buses
are available for the safe pick-up and drop-off of your child from your
doorstep.

both parents have to work long hours every day to accomplish this. The day care
center of Saint Irene Chrysovalantou provides an affordable yet safe and
stimulating environment for your child while you are away at work.
Under the
safe-guarding of the Patriarchal Monastery, our qualified staff is ready to
learn and respond to your child's individual needs.
Licensed by
The Board of Education of the City of NY, the Day Care Center operates weekdays
(8:30AM - 5PM) for children 3 - 6 years old.
